How can livestock be marked for identification

The standard is to start marking with “001” till it reaches “999”. This method is used for animals like cattle, sheep, goat, donkey and rabbit. Tagging is mostly used for marking sheep and goats, though pigs and young calves can also be tagged. The sheep can be turned up and held in a sitting position for tagging.
