Australia pharmacist exam

We deliver exams on behalf of the Pharmacy Board of Australia (PharmBA). These exams test the skills, knowledge and competency of future pharmacists. This helps to ensure that candidates are ready to practise pharmacy in Australia.


The KAPS exam tests your knowledge of basic pharmaceutical sciences as they relate to practising in Australia. Overseas qualified pharmacists from countries other than New Zealan seeking general registration in Australia are required to pass an examination conducted under the auspices of the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC). We specialise in providing materials to our students which enables them to pass the APEC ( Australian Pharmacy Examining Council) exam on their first attempt. This page shows you how to register with us for the Intern Written Examination. Passing this exam is a step in the process to become a fully registered pharmacist in Australia.


We do this by administering the Intern Written Exam and providing Skills Assessment letters for pharmacists who want to practise or migrate here. That the candidates of section A. Both will have to send the registration request for supervised practices as a pharmacist. Upon completion of the internship, pharmacy interns must sit and pass the Pharmacy Board’s registration examination , which comprises two components: a written section and an oral section.


Following the successful completion of this examination , interns are then eligible to apply for general registration and become qualified to practice as a pharmacist in Australia. The satisfactory completion of the entire examination process is required before a candidate may apply for registration as a pharmacist with a relevant registering authority in Australia. The APEC examination procedure is only part of the total assessment by pharmacy registering authorities and you may have to meet other requirements to be able to practise as a pharmacist in Australia. The above steps are the most crucial ones to start with and not a complete guidance to rely on. I am registered as a pharmacist in Australia and the UK.
