What happens if I get an eviction notice? Can a landlord evict you if you? How long do I have to give notice to a tenant? Unless the unit was inhabitable for some reason, the tenant does not have rights against a pay or quit notice if they’re late on rent.

They had told me that if I paid the rent that they would stop the proceedings however they have decided to make sure that my september rent is paid on time so they are.
