Boc lost cylinder charge

We ensure the quality and safety of our cylinders by performing regular tests, making repairs and replacing cylinders as necessary. Cylinders and valves are regularly upgraded in line with new technology. What is the difference between the types of cylinder rental ? Unless otherwise requeste all new cylinders taken will default to annual rental. BOC has a rental charge for all cylinders.


There are four rental period options: Monthly - charged in arrears for the previous month. If you pay monthly rental charges and increase your holdings, you will be charged a full months rental for the extra cylinders at the end of the month in which you obtained them. A cylinder returned to BOC is always removed from the original account upon which it was supplie irrespective of who has returned it. Where a cylinder is reported as lost or stolen a lost cylinder charge will be made and cylinder holdings will be adjusted accordingly.


In either case you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the gas to us. Where BOC collects the gas from you we will charge you our standard delivery charge. Other charges may apply if a customer wishes to trade with BOC outside of out standard conditions of sale. Possible charges are: Non-Direct Debit Fee - £2. Paper Invoice Fee - £1.


Late Payment Fee - £15. Debt Collection Agency Fee - £25. Missing cylinder replacement charges Cylinders remain the property of BOC and therefore it is essential you report any lost or stolen cylinders immediately.


Unless returned to us, cylinders remain on your account and you will continue receiving an invoice for container service charges. Please allow between 1-days for cylinder collection. Apply now for membership. Replacement charges also apply for any BOC cylinders lost by customers. Cylinders can be either be picked up by BOC (a pick-up charge does apply) or they can be returned to your local BOC store (no charge ). Collection – Cylinders can be picked up by BOC, however a pick-up charge does apply.


All prices exclude VAT. Other BOC Limited general terms and conditions apply. This is because it will remain our property and it is being provided to you only for the purposes of using the gas supplied. When the cylinder is empty, you can simply exchange it for a pre-filled cylinder or return the empty cylinder to us. RETURN THEM FREE OF CHARGE TO THEIR LAWFUL OWNER Liquefied Petroleum Gas and Industrial Gas cylinders are the property of the companies named on the cylinders. If you receive gas cylinders onto your site or yar they should be stored securely and safely, and reported as below. In our case, we argued that cylinders were not lost but had simply been ‘taken’ by ambulance crews to other hospitals where they would eventually find their way back to BOC.


Agreement on write-off was achieved in part because we found that where we were missing some cylinders , we were overstocked on others. By calling a maximum of three numbers these cylinders will be collected free-of- charge , within working days, by authorised staff carrying appropriate identification. The Company may charge the User for loss of use of a Cylinder , in the event of loss or damage to the Cylinder but this charge shall not give the User any rights in the Cylinder. Unless the Company, at its discretion, decides otherwise, the User will forfeit any rights or benefits conferred upon this by this Agreement.


Where it has been established that a cylinder or container has been lost by the customer, loss charges will apply. No not in combi boiler, as previously mentioned it is the white expansion vessel which is for the hot water cylinder. The seperate expanion vessel for heating side of system is the red one which is pre charged at bar. The vessel for hot water cylinder as per instructions on the vessel is charged to bar. It loses pressure on air side.
