FLUSH BALL CLEANING: After a period of time, mineral deposits from hard water may build up on the flush ball or seal , resulting in a slow water leak. To prevent this, periodi-cally clean the flush ball and seal. Remove minor debris from the flush ball and seal by slowly pressing and releasing the flush pedal several times. The Part Bowl Seals keep water in the bowl.

To replace an older toilet, turn off water supply to toilet.

The toilet flush ball is actually one-half a ball. It has a locking screw on the underside that locks it to the brass ball shaft. The ball has a Teflon seal over it and a rubber bowl seal over that. Replaces the flush ball seal for your Dometic weekender, part-timer, or full-timer RV toilet. Seal keeps water in the bowl when in use, while blocking sewer odors from rising up into your RV cabin.

My MS has a flange. It leaked of course so I took the Dometic back for a refund. Anyone know what the deal is. The Sealand has been a leaker from day one. Do not install on toilets with overflow holes in toilet bowl.
