I originally did this lesson with my 8th grade students. I was having some difficulty keeping them engage so I wanted to come up with something that would keep their attention. So, lets start with the learning. If you love the blocky, cutting-edge look of graffiti words, try drawing your own name graffiti -style.
Begin with a sketch, flesh the letters out into blocks or bubbles, then add personalized color and flair. In this app I just want to focus on the step-by-step drawing process of graffiti letters, like seen in the example next to this text. There is a tutorial for every letter of the alphabet.
So, you just have to grab a sheet of paper, a pencil and markers, and follow the instructions step-by-step.
