Salesforce Activity Events. The creation of the Activity Event is only the first step in the booking lifecycle. After the Activity Event is create it is continuously updated through all phases of the booking lifecycle: Schedule Reschedule Complete Cancele or No-show. Activities consist of Tasks (i.e., to-dos) and Events (i.e., meetings).
When you go to edit them in Setup to view fields, they are subdivided into Task Fields and Event Fields. But then if you want to add a custom fiel it is under Activity Custom Fields. Not the most intuitive. It includes activities for all contacts related to the object.
