Submit an online inquiry about your case or request other services, such as an accommodation request, or how to correct an error on your notice. The service centers and the NBC do not provide in-person assistance with questions about your case. If you contacted the USCIS Contact Center about a case at one of the USCIS Service Centers or the NBC and they sent a service request to the center processing your case , you should receive a response within days (days for expedited requests ). In my experience, they only update the case status when there is something new to report, such as when a case is scheduled for an interview.
