Course Description. Successfully completing this course will allow you to operate a builder’s hoist in which personnel, goods. A: A person should be trained and assessed for a high risk work licence in the state where they normally reside, however if circumstances exist to warrant it, SafeWork NSW can approve an application from an interstate resident. An example may be where a person has long term employment in NSW but their normal residential address is interstate (fly in, fly out workers ). What is a high risk work licence?


How much is NSW assessment?

A high risk work licence is required for certain types of work. This includes, scaffolding, dogging and rigging and operating cranes, hoists, reach stackers, forklifts and pressure equipment. There are specific laws about doing high risk work safely. Accredited training providers for high risk work licenses , short courses and qualifications.


We service the construction , manufacturing, defence, transport, energy and mining industries, providing formal training and assessment, refresher courses and verification’s of competency as well as on-site and off-site training solutions. This nationally recognised course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to operate an elevating work platform (EWP) with a boom length over 11m, and undertake the assessment required to receive their high-risk work licence. We can deliver accredited short courses and full qualifications in the fields of construction, resources, infrastructure, transport and logistics and we are accredited by SafeWork NSW, Work safe ACT , Work safe WA and WHSQ to deliver and assess most classes of High-Risk Work Licenses. Total duration is days.


Training is over four full days and SafeWork NSW assessment is conducted on the fifth day.

This fee includes the SafeWork NSW assessment fee and all course. High Risk Work The CFMEU runs a number of courses in high risk work. Approval to conduct training in NSW To gain approval, the RTO must apply to us and sign an agreement that requires the RTO to comply with our administrative and delivery requirements, including our code of conduct. WP HIGH RISK WORK LICENSE. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. This is a three day course - days training, one day assessment (by a Workcover Accredited Assessor.) This will allow you to legally operate Boom type devices over metres.


VERIFICATION OF COMPETENCY. Arrival must be minutes prior to the course start time.

Late arrivals will not be permitted. Students must be years old and bring photo identification or alternative identification containing signature, address and date of birth (mandatory for High Risk Licence courses )- Students must wear full enclosed steel cap footwear, long shirt and long pants- Students must read course manual.
